US-based Bar association members will still have access to their existing subscriptions on Fastcase, and can choose to purchase additional content on vLex Fastcase if required.

• International content: vLex Fastcase allows you to search for materials beyond your subscription and outside the US, including legal information from over 100 countries. You can opt to upgrade to access this additional content if needed.

How to Access vLex Fastcase

Sign into Fastcase as you normally would through your member benefit website. You will then be given the option to access the upgraded platform, vLex Fastcase, or continue to the existing Fastcase 7 service.

 

Your Subscription and Access

All current subscriptions will automatically transition from Fastcase 7 to vLex Fastcase. You will be able to transfer any notes, folders, and favorites to the new platform. Access details and more information about the transition will be shared by your member benefit provider, including support and training to help you maximize the benefits of this enhanced research platform.

 

Sign into vLex Fastcase Today

Visit our list of member benefit partners to link directly to your membership area and log in to vLex Fastcase. Only members that have opted-in to vLex Fastcase will be able to access the new service.

FAQs

What is vLex Fastcase?
vLex Fastcase is the new and improved version of Fastcase 7, exclusively available through your member benefit provider.

Do I need to take any action at this time?
Not at this time. We have been working closely with your member benefit provider to provide you with access to vLex Fastcase. All you need to do is log in to your member benefit account as normal and you can opt to access the new service. Your member benefit provider may contact you with more information if needed.

Will I be able to access the same content as before?
Yes. Your subscription will be transferred from Fastcase 7 to vLex Fastcase.

Can I continue to use Fastcase 7?
Yes, but only for a short time. Both Fastcase 7 and vLex Fastcase will be available to you while we migrate all members. However, Fastcase 7 will be closing in the near future, so we would encourage you to start using vLex Fastcase as soon as possible.

Do you have online support for vLex Fastcase?
Yes, vLex Fastcase, designed for member benefit providers, shares many of the same features as vLex, the legal research platform, available for purchase outside of your member benefit. The supporting guides, videos and online support for vLex Fastcase will be available to vLex Fastcase users.
